What Can You Do?: According to Sturgeon County they:
- “Place final Decision making in the hands of the public.” (Reference Material 2: Page 3)
- This is NOT just a Division 1 and Division 2 issue. The urbanization of these lands WILL
ultimately affect all Sturgeon County residents - Each development community is going to have a public hearing component. Each meeting is an opportunity to push back either in person speaking to council against or in emails in opposition
- Inform ALL fellow residents of Sturgeon County, especially those who may not have access to the internet, to the local papers, and/ or are unable to attend meetings
- Attend council meetings, especially those that pertain to the development in these areas. Chances are these types of developments will move to your areas as well
